Meet Jesse Parker

DOC’S MASTER BLENDER

Jesse made his first beverage in 3rd grade. A super-expressive, ultra- fizzy, root-beer soda he shared with his whole class.

Through blending liqueurs with his grandparents, Jesse became even more fascinated with beverages. Wanting to understand how spirits were made, he taught himself all about distillation processes.

Through a turn of fate, Jesse met a man doing a bottle signing in a grocery store. This man happened to have a distilling school in Seattle, so Jesse enrolled.

After spending a summer shadowing in the distillery, Jesse went on to get his first distilling job.

At the age of 21 he was working at a family-owned operation in Lynden WA, making craft brandy, vodka, and gin.

It wasn't long until he entered the second batch of gin he ever distilled into an international spirits competition. They won first place.

He continues to aim high with Doc Swinsons, and has won 100 awards, and counting…

Jesse’s blending style has evolved from a ton of experimentation and play. Paired with knowledge he has gleaned from meeting and talking with some of the best blenders and distillers in the world.

His passion for history and processing methods seeps into his work. If you ever get the chance to talk to him about blending, you’ll know he’s no joke.
