Ok, now that you have the recipe, here’s a bit more of the backstory behind session blend.

Basically, we wanted to make you a super high quality 5-year bourbon that will be your daily-drinker. Something that stands out on its own, and also makes a damn good cocktail.

We tested our blends, for the best bourbon to really compliment an old-fashioned, whiskey and coke or whiskey sour recipe and here you have the results: session blend!

Session blend is aged 5 years, 90 proof, and MSRP sits at about $32 (depending on the store).

You have your specialty or your rare higher priced bottles in your collection. But you want to have those bottles you can buy again and again, for the casual weekend get together or for your cocktail at the end of the day.

This is why we made Session Blend.

We hope you enjoy. Drink responsibly.

What people have to say about Session Blend:

“This dives deep into the slow-sipper territory. This is a really good whiskey. I want to add a little water or a rock to let bloom in the glass. This also feels like it’s going to make a killer Manhattan come winter.”

-Uproxx (top 5 bourbons under $50)

I blind tasted the bartenders on the Session Blend and it won the Old Fashioned vote 4:1! “

-Clio, SAGE Sarasota FL (Blind against Old Forester).

Clio also put a Doc Swinson cocktail on the menu! It's a lil riff on a New York Whiskey Sour and it's been a hit with everyone.

Ingredients:

Doc Swinson Pineau, plum and clove honey syrup, lime juice, orange juice, and a Bordeaux wine foam :)

They named it the 'Renaissance'
